Delete your TrailGlow account
How to delete your TrailGlow account and its backup, in the app or by email, and what stays afterward. TrailGlow is made by Everwood Ventures LLC.
Subscribed? Cancel it first
Deleting your account doesn't cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions, then delete your account.
In the app
- Open the Settings tab. In TrailGlow, on your iPhone or Android phone.
- Tap Delete account. It's at the bottom: Settings → Delete account.
- Confirm with Apple or Google. Sign in again with the account you use for TrailGlow. Your account and backup are deleted right away, and it can't be undone.
Without the app
Email support@trailglow.app and ask us to delete your account. Send it from the email address on your account, or tell us what that address is.
If you signed in with Apple and chose Hide My Email, that address is the one Apple made for TrailGlow. You'll find it in your Apple Account, under Sign in with Apple.
We may ask you to confirm it's you. We'll delete the account and tell you when it's done, within 30 days.

- Your account: your name, email address and sign-in with Apple or Google.
- Your backup: every backed-up track, with its trail, pins, notes and blood types.
- Your backed-up photos, pins' and recovery photos.
- Settings that followed your account: units, sensitivity and haptics.
What stays, and why
- Tracks on your phone. TrailGlow works without an account, so they stay on your phone, no longer backed up. Delete them in the app's Tracks if you want them gone.
- Your subscription, until you cancel it. Apple and Google bill it, not TrailGlow, so deleting your account can't stop it. Cancel it in your store's subscription settings.
- Records of past purchases. Apple, Google and our subscription provider, RevenueCat, keep them for billing and tax, under an id that no longer matches any account.
- Crash reports and server logs. Our providers keep them on their own schedules.
- Backups of our database. They roll off within 7 days.
Delete some of your data and keep your account
You can delete things one at a time in the app, or ask us to delete specific data. Your account stays.
In the app
- A track: open it, tap ··· and then Delete track. Its pins and photos go with it.
- A pin: open it and tap Delete. Its photos go with it.
Each delete also erases the backed-up copy.

For anything else, email support@trailglow.app and tell us what to delete. Send it from the email address on your account, or tell us what that address is.
We may ask you to confirm it's you. We'll delete what you asked for and tell you when it's done, within 30 days.
